Hours & Workload

5 hours of instructor presentation of course materials per week, and 10 hours of outside work hours per week.

Beginning stage of a comprehensive program for the study of Russian including reading, writing, listening/viewing, and speaking. The course introduces the students to the foundations of Russian grammar, as well as communicative skills and culture. Grades based on daily attendance and participation, homework, compositions, chapter and oral tests, and a final exam.
