Class Description
The ANova decal aims to help members of Berkeley
ANova understand challenges within the tech industry, especially issues with diversity in tech,
availability of tech education, and more. The course will include brief lectures, but generally
consist of discussions, activities, and guest speakers. This DeCal will provide perspective on
ANova’s mission statement and role within our Bay Area community, as well as barriers that
exist in the tech space overall. It will also offer mentorship guidance and has an overarching goal
of creating better mentors in ANova.
