Introductory Probability and Statistics for Business
Catalog Course Description
Reasoning and fallacies, descriptive statistics, probability models and related concepts, combinatorics, sample surveys, estimates, confidence intervals, tests of significance, controlled experiments vs. observational studies, correlation and regression.
Fall Term
3 hours of Web-based or technologically-mediated activities replacing standard lectures (effective Fall 2006) per week and 9 hours of Outside Work Hours per week.
Summer Term
7.5 hours of Web-based or technologically-mediated activities replacing standard lectures (effective Fall 2006) per week and 15 hours of Outside Work Hours per week.
Spring Term
