Course Catalog Description
Course that focuses on topical subjects in specific fields of neuroscience.
Class Description
The course will review literature describing brain MR imaging techniques commonly use in human neuroscience, including basic and cutting edge functional (fMRI) and structural imaging on 3T and 7T scanners: EPI, cerebral blood volume (VASO), cerebral blood flow (ASL), CSF motion, 4D arterial flow, MR angiography and anatomical imaging with MP2RAGE, 3D T2W, diffusion and T2* susceptibility imaging. Some live scanning on the NexGen 7T scanner and Trio 3T will demonstrate several exciting techniques.
The course is scheduled in B105D, which is inside of LKS. It can be accessed via the 1st Floor elevator to the B level of the BIC MRI Center in the south west corner of LKS (directly above Oxford and University Ave).
