Catalog Course Description

Logic, mathematical induction sets, relations, and functions. Introduction to graphs, elementary number theory, combinatorics, algebraic structures, discrete probability, theory, and statistics. Emphasis on topics of interest to students in computer science.

Summer Term

5 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week and 12.5 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 5 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week.

Spring Term

7 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 2 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.

Fall Term
