Logic, mathematical induction, finite series, sets, relations, and functions, introduction to trees, combinatorics, algebraic structures, probability. Emphasis on topics of interest to students of computer science.

Spring Term

2 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week and 8 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 2 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week.

Fall Term
