Catalog Course Description

This sequence is intended for majors in the life and social sciences. Calculus of one variable; derivatives, definite integrals and applications, maxima and minima, and applications of the exponential and logarithmic functions.

Summer Term

4 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 9 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 4 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.

Spring Term

3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 4.5 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 1.5 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.

Fall Term

3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 4.5 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 1.5 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.
