Inequalities, absolute value, graphs of simple functions, the derivative, maxima and minima, rates of change and differentials, increasing and decreasing functions, basic properties of log, exp, cos, sin, introduction to integration, fundamental theorem of calculus, properties of the integral, integration by substitution and by parts, volumes of solids of revolution and arc length. <Some lecture sections may have a third lecture hour weekly and/or some workshops; these would not cover new mate
