Catalog Course Description

This sequence is intended for majors in engineering and the physical sciences. An introduction to differential and integral calculus of functions of one variable, with applications and an introduction to transcendental functions.

Spring Term

3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 7 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 3 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.

Summer Term

5 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 12.5 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 5 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.

Fall Term

3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 7 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 3 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.
