Catalog Course Description

An individualized tutorial course for international GSIs, focusing on oral communication skills through the use of videotaped presentations, individual pronunciation work, and group discussions of cross-cultural classroom issues. Recognized as 2 units in computing the study list.

Fall Term

0.5 hours of Supplementary (or remedial) individualized instruction per week and 1.5 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 0 hours of Outside Work Hours per week.

Spring Term
