Section 4 of Chem 1A is designed to accelerate learning for students who have had one year or less of chemistry in high school, or who are repeating Chem 1A. This section covers the same topics and requires the same number of hours as Sections 1-3. In Section 4, students work together in a learning community to develop and practice scientific thinking skills. You will build on your understanding of chemistry by working in small groups on challenging problems to analyze data, construct explanations from evidence, ask questions, and develop models about how data shapes our understanding of chemistry. If you are interested in enrolling in this section, please email Chem1ASection4@gmail.com. show less
