Course Catalog Description
This sequence is intended for majors in the life and social sciences. Calculus of one variable; derivatives, definite integrals and applications, maxima and minima, and applications of the exponential and logarithmic functions.

Requisites
- Enrollment in this course is restricted to first semester students participating in the Fall Program for First Semester (FPF). Non-FPF students are not permitted to enroll in this course.
Credit Restrictions
Students will receive no credit for XMATH 16A after completing MATH 16A, MATH N16A, MATH 1A, or MATH N1A. A deficient grade in XMATH 16A may be removed by taking MATH 16A, or MATH N16A.
