Course Catalog Description
Study of special topics in nutritional sciences that are not covered in depth in regular courses.
Class Description
To provide students with basic nutrition education and the role that
food choices play in leading a healthy lifestyle. This course will also help
students gain a deeper understanding on sustainable food systems by delving into
the topics of sustainable food production, environmental impacts of agriculture and
public health issues. We also will seek to form a relationship between food and
the environment, in regards to how to live a clean and balanced lifestyle.
