Class Description

This course will serve as an introduction to terrestrial paleoclimate. We will read and discuss papers on how tree fossils are used to reconstruct paleoclimate with a focus on stable isotope geochemistry. We will read both classic and modern papers. Work will involve making occasional presentations on the paper that week and short work activities. We will meet once per week for two hours. Students must enroll in this course for two-units.
