Course Catalog Description
Written proposal must be approved by a faculty sponsor, who will serve as Instructor of Record. Seminars for the group study of selected topics, which will vary from semester to semester. Topics may be initiated by students.
Class Description
This course is designed to help transfer students make a successful transition into the Data Science major. Students will learn how to navigate the academic and co-curricular landscape of data science and develop strategies for achieving their academic and career goals. Through a combination of interactive lectures, peer guidance, and discussions, students will emerge with go-forward strategies for academic and personal success as a Data Science undergraduate.
