Supervised teaching experience in courses related to planning. Course may not be applied toward the M.C.P. degree.
Class Description
City & Regional Planning 375 is a facilitated seminar in contemporary teaching techniques and pedagogical issues facing university-level TA/GSIs and instructors. The course presents general learning and teaching principles adapted to teaching in the built environment fields of architecture, landscape architecture, and city planning. It is offered jointly by the College of Environmental Design departments and rotates from semester to semester. The course is required of all graduate students to be eligible for appointment as TA/GSIs and may be taken concurrently with the first TA/GSI position for entering students.
