Course Catalog Description
Study and critical analysis of topics, research, and texts pertinent to environmental science, policy, and management. Different topics will be available each semester reflecting faculty and student interest.
Class Description
A seminar covering the core theory and methodology for comparative biology, including both morphology and molecules, and both living and fossil organisms. We cover how to build phylogenetic trees and how to use them in areas such as systematics, ecology, evolution, development, functional morphology, population genetics, conservation, biogeogeography, and macroevolution. The format will be a mixture of lectures and discussions.
