Class Description
This course is an experimental merger of Costume Design and Technology. Students learn through various silhouettes and styles; how intertwined costume history/fashion is with innovation. You will also learn a hybrid of expression through media design, such as collaging, digital renderings, and visceral artistic exploration. The course will consist of lectures, multimedia collaborative projects, and presentations.
The students must provide most art supplies, and the use of a technological device capable of downloading applications (such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop) is strongly encouraged.
This course fulfills an upper-level design requirement for the major.
