Class Description
Russian 103A is аn advanced course on comprehension and communication skills, grammar, and cultural competence aimed at students who have completed the lower-division Russian sequence (Russian 1-4). The course will be based on authentic Russian sources from a variety of genres and media and will highlight vocabulary, idiomatic expression, and cultural awareness. It will also address the less familiar and more challenging areas of Russian grammar and syntax in conjunction with the advanced reading material. The course's goals are to expand students’ active vocabulary, strengthen their grasp of grammar, and further develop their ability to articulate ideas and opinions.
