Class Description
This course helps graduate students develop research projects in migration history based on their original primary research. Broadly defined, migration in this course means diverse forms of human movements, including immigration and emigration, voluntary and involuntary migration, international and non-international migration, and diasporic migration. While the instructor’s specialization lies in U.S. immigration history, students can research any aspects of migration history. The course is open to students in all fields regardless of geographical and chronological focus.
