Course involves pursuing study in subfields of sociological theory. The course presumes a general background in social theory.
Class Description
Why are we so slow to respond to a looming crisis? The course explores the theoretical dimensions of knowledge (ignorance) and action (inaction), and looks in part at the Covid-19 pandemic and in a more sustained fashion at the global environmental crisis.
