Campbell Biology 11th or 12th editions are the recommended text for this course. The links below are for either the 11th edition as a hardcopy with access to online materials including the eText, or eText only access for the 12th edition. We will also provide equivalent readings in the online textbook OpenStax. Only one of these options is necessary. For Biology 1B topics any one of these sources is sufficient.
Students who plan to take Biology 1A in a subsequent semester may need access to the Campbell Biology online materials (Mastering Biology). show less
