Population and variables. Standard measures of location, spread and association. Normal approximation. Regression. Probability and sampling. Interval estimation. Some standard significance tests.

Class Notes

EARLY DEADLINE TO ENROLL for Stat 2 is 4pm Friday, June 27, 2022 (end of the first week). Stat 2 Lec 001 is asynchronous and online. Lab sections are synchronous (they meet at the time listed). Lab 101, 103 and 104 will be online and Lab 102 will be in-person lab.

Credit Restrictions

Students will receive no credit for STAT 2 after completing STAT W21, STAT 20, STAT 21, STAT 25, STAT S2, STAT 21X, STAT N21, STAT 5, or STAT 2X.
