Course Catalog Description
Population and variables. Standard measures of location, spread and association. Normal approximation. Regression. Probability and sampling. Binomial distribution. Interval estimation. Some standard significance tests.

Requisites
- Enrollment in this course is restricted to first semester students participating in the Fall Program for First Semester (FPF). Non-FPF students are not permitted to enroll in this course.
Credit Restrictions
Students who have completed XSTAT 2 receive no credit for passing STAT 2, STAT 2X, STAT 5, STAT 20, STAT 21, STAT 25.
