Population and variables. Standard measures of location, spread and association. Normal approximation. Regression. Probability and sampling. Binomial distribution. Interval estimation. Some standard significance tests.

Fall Term

3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 2 hours of Instructional experiences requiring special laboratory equipment and facilities per week and 7 hours of Outside Work Hours per week.

Summer Term

5 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 13.5 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 4 hours of Instructional experiences requiring special laboratory equipment and facilities per week.

Summer Term

7.5 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 18 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 5 hours of Instructional experiences requiring special laboratory equipment and facilities per week.

Spring Term

3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 2 hours of Instructional experiences requiring special laboratory equipment and facilities per week and 7 hours of Outside Work Hours per week.
