Analysis of historic and psychological context for issues of Soviet/American relations. Dynamics of conflict resolution and negotiation; theories of human aggression and drives toward war and intersocietal conflict; cognitive and motivational limits on rationality; risk assessment; individual and small-group decision-making dynamics regarding foreign policy.
