Catalog Course Description

Newtonian mechanics, motion of a particle in one, two, and three dimensions, central force motion, moving coordinate systems, mechanics of continuous media, oscillations, normal modes, Lagrange's equations, rigid body dynamics, tensor analysis techniques.

Spring Term
