Catalog Course Description

This course is intended to introduce students to health policy making and health care organizations in the United States. Students will be introduced to concepts from public policy, economics, organizational behavior, and political science. Students will also be introduced to current issues in U.S. health policy and the present organization of the U.S. health care system.

Summer Term

6 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 12 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 2 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.

Summer Term

8 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 14 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 2 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.

Fall Term

3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 6 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 1 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.

Spring Term

3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 6 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 1 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.
