Catalog Course Description

The sequence is intended for majors in engineering and the physical sciences. An introduction to differential and integral calculus of functions of one variable with applications, transcendental functions and techniques of integration. Consult the Department of Mathematics for details. Students with AP credit should consider choosing a course more advanced than 1A.

Fall Term

2 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week and 2 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 8 hours of Outside Work Hours per week.

Spring Term
