Introduction to Environmental Sciences
Catalog Course Description
Introduction to the science underlying biological and physical environmental problems, including water and air quality, global change, energy, ecosystem services, introduced and endangered species, water supply, solid waste, human population, and interaction of technical, social, and political approaches to environmental management.
Spring Term
3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 5 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 1 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.
Summer Term
7.5 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 14 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 2.5 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.
Fall Term
3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 5 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 1 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.
