Catalog Course Description

Introduction to the science underlying biological and physical environmental problems, including water and air quality, global change, energy, ecosystem services, introduced and endangered species, water supply, solid waste, human population, and interaction of technical, social, and political approaches to environmental management.

Summer Term

2 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week and 6 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 9.5 hours of Outside Work Hours per week.

Spring Term

3 hours of Instructor presentation of course materials per week and 5 hours of Outside Work Hours per week and 1 hours of The exchange of opinions or questions on course material per week.

Fall Term
