Course Catalog Description
This course is the second semester of Intermediate Modern Greek and is designed to enhance the student’s oral and written communicative competence. It focuses on grammar, vocabulary, listening, and reading comprehension. Through various activities, students will improve their ability to navigate real-life situations in a Greek-speaking environment, discuss everyday topics in different tenses, exchange information, and deepen their understanding of Greek culture. The course includes analyzing authentic texts and newspaper articles, writing reports, letters, and compositions, and giving presentations. Active use of the language both in and outside the classroom is encouraged to improve fluency and accuracy.
