Co-enrollment or a previous passing grade in Chem 1A is required. The enrollment system will require this as Chem 1A is a co-requisite of Chem 1AL. Because of the co-requisite requirement, students will not be able to join the Chem 1AL waitlist unless they are enrolled in (not waitlisted for) Chem 1A, or have previously passed Chem 1A. The course pre-requisite will be strictly enforced by the enrollment system. Students not meeting the pre-requisite will not be able to enroll. Time conflicts are not allowed. If you have any questions regarding enrollment please contact chem-enroll@berkeley.edu. Please do not contact instructors with enrollment related questions.
