Course Catalog Description
Introduction to forces, kinetics, equilibria, fluids, waves, and heat. This course presents concepts and methodologies for understanding physical phenomena, and is particularly useful preparation for upper division study in biology and architecture.
Class Description
The course is online asynchronous, but the midterms and final will be in person as follows: MT1 on July 3rd, from 10am to 12pm in Physics Lecture Hall #1; MT2 on July 18th, from 10am to 12pm in Physics Lecture Hall #1, and Final on August 15th, from 10AM to 1PM in Physics Lecture Hall #1. Attendance to the midterms and final is mandatory. Plan accordingly.
Important note about enrollment: To successfully enroll in the course, you must ONLY enroll in the lab section. The LAB is the enrollment section; students are automatically enrolled in the corresponding DIS & LEC. You will receive an error message if you try to enroll in the discussion or lecture.
