Course Catalog Description

This course covers the anatomical composition of the human brain with particular emphasis on modern understanding regarding the micro- and macroanatomy of the cerebral cortex and the underlying white matter. The course is designed for students who intend to continue their postgraduate education toward a masters, doctorate, or medical degree in a field involving the study of the human brain.

Class Notes

50% of seats are released at the beginning of Phase I. All seats are reserved for Psych majors. There is no waitlist. Additional seats may be added to impacted classes (up to 15% more if needed).

More seats will be released during Phase 2, and additional seats will be added during the Adjustment Period. Starting Phase II, Psych enrollment restriction will be removed, and seats are available to all UC Berkeley students on a first-come, first-serve basis. A small waitlist will be added.

Class is synchronous. No time conflict enrollment allowed. Enrollment of students with a time conflict will never be considered.
