Class Description
The CDSS Transfer Mentor Program (TMP) is a semester-long initiative aimed at creating an inclusive academic environment for diverse groups of computing, data science, and statistics students at UC Berkeley. As a core element of the CDSS Transfer Empowerment Program, TMP connects incoming transfer students with experienced peer mentors. Through this seminar, participating students will be equipped to mentor newly admitted transfer students effectively. The course provides the knowledge and skills necessary for mentors to offer valuable insights and guidance, supporting new students in navigating and succeeding within the Berkeley community.
Class meetings will be held in TSC Anchor (1923 Walnut St).
Class Notes
Course open to CDSS transfer students who have completed at least two semesters at Berkeley.
