Class Description
The EIM-OC DeCal course focuses on the principles of Exercise is Medicine® and the
importance of physical activity for health and well-being. Students will explore evidence based strategies to promote exercise and gain practical knowledge on how to integrate based strategies to promote exercise and gain practical knowledge on how to integrate physical activity into daily life. Through discussions, guest speakers, and interactive activities, students will learn about the benefits of exercise, develop lifelong fitness habits, and become advocates for promoting health and wellness on campus. This course combines academic learning with practical applications to inspire healthier
lifestyles.
