Class Description
Sandbox is a 2-unit studio workshop for creatives across campus to pursue project ideas, collaborate, and expand their skill sets. We welcome fashion designers, woodworkers, product designers, graphic makers, sound engineers, entrepreneurs, really anyone with creative drive and an eagerness to make.
Our course structure is built using a design methodology that adapts to your needs. The only real expectation is that you show up and participate openly. This class is meant to be fun, it gives you the space and incentive to pursue the things you’re passionate about. Along the way, we’ll host guest workshops, organize socials, bring in good food, and stay open to new ideas from the group.
The class will take place once a week in the CITRIS Invention Lab on the northside of campus. CITRIS is a maker space on the campus providing expertise, tools, materials and support for you to design and prototype projects.
