7.5 hours of instructor presentation of course materials per week, 19 hours of outside work hours per week, and 4 hours of instructional experiences requiring special laboratory equipment and facilities per week.

Course Catalog Description

Descriptive statistics, probability, probability distributions, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, chi-square, correlation and regression with biomedical applications.

Class Notes

Labs for PBHTLH 142 will be offered online, synchronously; Lectures will be online, with a mix of synchronous and asynchronous meetings.

This course is part of the Global Public Health Summer Minor; however you do not have to be pursuing the minor to enroll in the course.

Students will receive no credit for PB HLTH 142 after completing BEHS 130A, PB HLTH 142A, or PB HLTH W142.
