Course Catalog Description

The purpose of this course is to understand the theory and processes of negotiation as practiced in a variety of settings. It is designed to be relevant to the broad spectrum of negotiation problems faced by managers and professionals. By focusing on the hehavior of individuals, groups, and organizations in the context of competitive situations, the course will allow students the opportunity to develop negotiation skills experientially in useful analytical frameworks (e.g.- simulations, cases).

There are no exemptions for attendance, assignments or any scheduled exams. If you cannot fulfill all class requirements, then you should drop the class.

Phase I: Enrollment is restricted to Junior and Senior declared Business Administration majors only. All other students must add themselves to the waitlist.
Phase II: Enrollment is prioritized for declared Business Administration majors.
Adjustment Period: Enrollment is prioritized to all undergraduates with 5-8 terms of attendance on a space available basis. show less
