Course Catalog Description
Group studies of selected topics which vary over time.
Class Description
This course aims to explore the multifaceted issue of health disparities, examining the
various factors that contribute to unequal access to healthcare and differential health outcomes
among different population groups. Through readings, weekly assignments, and group
presentations/projects students will collectively gain a comprehensive understanding of the
causes and consequences of health disparities in the U.S., as well as investigate potential
solutions to address these inequalities.
