Course Catalog Description
This semester course focuses on introducing graduate students to the ethical, conceptual, and practical issues related to the practice of evidence-based supervision with focused discussion and a practicum/experiential component focused on supervising a peer. Using a problem-based learning approach, the course has three primary components: review of theoretical models and empirical literature, direct supervision and supervision of supervision, and ongoing supervision and discussion surrounding supervision issues and problem-based learning.
