This course is intended to introduce students to health policy making and health care organizations in the United States. Students will be introduced to concepts from public policy, economics, organizational behavior, and political science. Students will also be introduced to current issues in U.S. health policy and the present organization of the U.S. health care system.

Class Notes

Public Health is an impacted major and PB HLTH 150D is a major requirement. During Phase 1 and Phase 2, seats are reserved for Public Health majors and any remaining seats available will be released to non-Public Health majors in the adjustment period. Since it is only offered once an academic year, there is no guarantee of enrollment for non-Public Health majors at this time.
