Music 90 focuses on creating music, performing, and improvising, along with an introduction to the opportunities for creative music research and music making offered by the Music Department. You may take Music 150A alongside Music 90 if you want to rigorously enhance your music skills while enrolled in Music 90.

SECTION 1 taught by Prof. Jean Ahn
MWF 11:10am - 50 minutes
This section will commence with mastering intervals and practicing triads. The class has some collaborative projects in mid semester and one composition project as a final.


SECTION 2 taught by Prof. David Miller
TTh 11:10am - 80 minutes

Focus on creating music, performing, and improvising, along with an introduction to the opportunities for creative music research and music making offered by the Music Department. This section is suitable for students who already possess technical proficiency on their instrument/s or voice and, at least, a solid basic knowledge of music theory. show less
