Course Catalog Description
Practical instruction in the Hungarian language. The course can be taken for either 3 or 4 units; the additional unit involves additional assignments.
Class Description
The course builds practical language survival skills in a socio-cultural context and explores intriguing aspects of Hungarian culture, including contemporary and historical events, literature, pop culture, and folklore.
Three- or four-unit options:
Students can take Hungarian 1A for either three or four units. The extra unit requires additional independent work after consultation with the instructor.
