Class Description
This research and writing workshop is designed to nurture original historical scholarship, in the form a single self-contained research essay, on any topic in the history of North America since 1750. Students working on social or cultural history in the very broadest senses are especially encouraged to enroll, but there is no expectation that the papers produced in this seminar will share any particular theme, subject matter, period, or methodology.
