Class Description
This DeCal is for students interested in learning photography. We will start off with the basics (camera manipulations and shooting in RAW) and quickly move onto composition rules and tricks to get better and take more thought-out photos, and from there move on to how to be a professional photographer, learn photo ethics, and integrate art into photography. By the end of this course, we hope that students will feel strong in their photography abilities, be able to critique their own work, and see the world through an artistic eye, so they can further grow to become the best photographers they can be.
This course is intended to be for beginners with little to no knowledge of how to use a DSLR or other camera with manual capabilities. Therefore, in order to keep spots for beginning photographers, students with more advanced portfolios may not be accepted.
