Course Catalog Description
Supervised field programs involving experiences in schools and school-related activities. Regular individual meetings with faculty sponsor and written reports required.
Class Description
This is a 2-unit Field Work Program in tutoring (French 197) for advanced students of French interested in tutoring students in French 1 and 2.
Tutors enrolled in French 197 will be responsible for 2 hours of drop-in tutoring per week in Dwinelle 4119, the Comp Lit/French Undergraduate Resource Room. Enrollment is limited to 8 students and is designed for native speakers, majors, and minors.
Eligibility Students must have completed French 102 or equivalent or be native speakers and have a minimum 3.0 GPA in UCB French coursework.
