Course Catalog Description
This course discusses a range of environmental issues, including: climate change; air pollution; water pollution; loss of tropical forests; depletion of fisheries; species extinction; depletion of the atmospheric ozone layer; pollution abatement technologies; green energy;
fossil fuel extraction; and others. The course also analyzes a range of ways and concepts describing how countries and regions interact, including: trade; foreign direct investment; multinational ownership; global value chains; outsourcing; globalization; market access; international transportation; international treaties; unilateral environmental policy; and others.
