1 to 4 hours of directed group study per week, and 2 to 8 hours of outside work hours per week.
Course Catalog Description
Written proposal must be approved by a faculty sponsor, who will serve as Instructor of Record. Seminars for the group study of selected topics, which will vary from semester to semester. Topics may be initiated by students.
Class Description
In this course, not only will students develop and hone their technical expertise, they will also experience data science in the real world through panels and speaker events. All this and more will challenge students and elevate them in the search for post-graduate opportunities, while still maintaining the low-pressure environment of a DeCal that values learning above all else.
